Manuscript description
Info obtained from the Library of Fatih's catalog, the Sulaymaniyya's database (on-site), and a digitized colored copy of the manuscript. The author's autograph and probably still a draft. The manuscript consists of 25 quires (Kurras). Numbering: indo-Arabic and Arabic. The title suggests that al-Maqrīzī was alive when it was written as it says “satar allah ʿuyūbah wa ghafar dhunūbah”. Also, the first two folios have an outline of the topics discussed in this volume, and the author’s pray that he could finish it (يسر الله اكماله بخير). Extensive use of the margins. Several blank spaces. Several papers are glued inside.
