Amir Quṭlubughā received a robe of honour and was appointed as nāʾib of Alexandria and ʾAqbirdī al-Minqār was dismissed. This Quṭlubughā was one of those amir Minṭāsh had honoured with an amirate of 100. He had long remained in obscurity during the days of al-Ẓāhirī and al-Nāṣirī, until he was noticed in this time, and he was appointed without question and there was no capacity for what he was charged with.
