Minṭāsh takes the horses in the Gate of the Chain, then he attacks the Gate of the Chain in vain, because of arrows and stones shot by al-Nāṣirī’s mamlūks.
On the way back to his palace, he plunders the house of ʾĀqbughā al-Jawharī al-ʾustādār.
Then, he orders his mamlūks and followers to ascend the madrasa of sultan Ḥasan with amirs Tankizbughā raʾs nawba and ʾUzdamur al-Jūkandār, to shoot arrows and stones upon al-Nāṣirī’s followers in the Rumayla place.
