Summary
815 AH, 07/03: Amir Fāris al-Maḥmūdī, one of the amirs of 40 since the days of Al-Nāṣir Faraj, is fastened with nails and placed beneath the citadel. The reason for this is the following: he falsely informed amirs Shāhīn al-ʾAfram and Ṭūghān (the dawādār) of the plans of the sultan to arrest them. They met the sultan, informed him about this and he arrested and killed him.
