وفي هذا الشهر: تنكر السلطان على قاضي القضاة جلال الدين بن البلقيني لاستكثاره من النواب،

The sultan reproached qāḍī al-quḍāṭ Jalāl al-Dīn b. al-Bulqīnī for his exorbitant number of nuwwāb and there was much talking and his companions put pressure on him, so he dismissed a group of them and reduced their number to 14.
