This month started with a Monday (in Cairo) and with a Tuesday in Mecca.
The sultan appointed his son with the position of nāẓir al-bīmāristān al-Manṣūrī and gave him the corresponding khilʿa, as was the custom for those appointed as ʾatābak.
All of the ʾarkān dawla descended to the bīmāristān in his khidma.
