وفيه ورد الخبر بموت الأمير تمرباي التمرداشي نائب صفد بعد أن أقام على نيابة صفد خمسة أيام فأخلع السلطان بعد مدة على الأمير كمشبغا الحموي بنيابة صفد عوضه.
وكمشبغا هذا هو أكبر مماليك يلبغا العمري وممن صار في أيام أستاذه أمير طبلخاناه ولم يخرج عن طاعة أستاذه يلبغا ولهذا مقته خشداشيته الذين خرجوا على أستاذهم يلبغا لكونه لم يوافقهم وقد تقدم أنه ولي نيابة دمشق وصفد. وطربلس

news in Cairo of the death of Tamurbāy ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Afḍalī, governor of Ṣafad, after five days in his governorship. The sultan appoints Kumushbughā al-Ḥamawī to replace him.
Kumushbughā was the greatest mamluk of Yalbughā al-ʿUmarī, and he became amir 40 under his master’s regency. He did not rebelled against him, so that his khushdāshiyya were hostile to him. He administered the governorships of Damascus, Ṣafad and Tripoli before.
