ثم انقطع أخبار الناصري عن مصر لدخول الأمير حسام الدين بن باكيش نائب غزة في طاعة الناصري.
ثم قدم الخبر بدخول الأمير مأمور القلمطاوي نائب الكرك في طاعة الناصري وأنه سلم له الكرك بما فيها من الأموال والسلاح فتيقن كل أحد عند سماع هذا الخبر أيضًا بزوال ملك الملك الظاهر.

All news concerning al-Nāṣirī was now cut off from Egypt because of the submission to him of amir Ḥusām al-Dīn ibn Bākīsh, governor of Gaza. Next came the report that amir Maʾmūr al-Qalamṭāwī, governor of al-Karak, also had submitted to him and had surrendered al-Karak with all the property and arms which were there. On hearing this news the people were still further convinced that the end of al-malik al-Ẓāhir’s reign was at hand.
