فعند ذلك تقدم الناصري بكتابة مرسوم عن الخليفة وعن الأمير الكبير يلبغا الناصري بالإفراج عن الأمراء المعتقلين بثغر الإسكندرية وهم: ألطنبغا الجوباني نائب الشام وقردم الحسني وألطنبغا المعلم أمير سلاح وإحضارهم إلى قلعة الجبل والجميع يلبغاويه فسار البريد بذلك.

Al-Nāṣirī then produced a written order (kitāba marsūm) “in the name of the caliph and the Great Amir Yalbughā al-Nāṣirī” to release the amirs who were imprisoned in the fortress of Alexandria - namely, ʾAlṭunbughā al-Jūbānī, governor of Damascus, Qardam al-Ḥasanī, and ʾAlṭunbughā al-Muʿallim, amir of the arms, all of whom were former slaves of Yalbughā - and to send them to the citadel. The order to this effect went from Cairo by post-horse messenger.
