ثم قام الملك المنصور إلى القصر وسائر أرباب الدولة بين يديه.
واستقر الأمير الكبير يلبغا الناصري أتابك العساكر بالديار المصرية ومدبر المملكة وصاحب حلها وعقدها ففي الحال أمر الناصري للأمير ألطنبغا الأشرفي والأمير أرسلان اللفاف وقراكسك والأمير أردبغا العثماني أن يكونوا عند السلطان الملك المنصور بالقصر وأن يمنعوا من يدخل عليه من التركمان وغيرهم.

The sultan, with all the government officials before him, then arose and went to the Castle. Great Amir Yalbughā al-Nāṣirī was there appointed ʾatābak al-ʿasākir in Egypt, and its de facto ruler, with the power “to loosen and to bind”. Al-Nāṣirī therupon immediately ordered amirs ʾAlṭunbughā al-ʾAshrafī, ʾArslān al-Laffāf, Qarā Kasak, and ʾIrdbughā al-ʿUthmānī to remain with the sultan in the Castle and prevent the Turkumān and others from entering to him.
