هذا والقوم يتسللون من الناصري إلى منطاش والعامة تمسك من وجدوه من الترك ويقولون له: ناصري أم منطاشي فإن قال: ناصري أنزلوه من على فرسه وأخذوا جميع ما عليه وأتوا به إلى منطاش.
ثم تكاثرت العامة على بيت الأمير أيدكار حتى أخذوه بعد قتال كبير وأتوا به إلى منطاش فأكرمه منطاش

In the meanwhile, the desertion from al-Nāṣirī to Minṭāsh continued steadily, and in addition the populace took to seizing anyone of the Turks they could find and asking him: “Are you a Nāṣirī or a Minṭāshī?” And if he answered “Nāṣirī”, they would pull him from his horse, take from him all that he had on, and bring him to Minṭāsh. The populace also attacked in great numbers the house of amir ʾAydakār, seized him after much fighting, and took him to Minṭāsh, who, however, received him with honors.
