ثم تقدم الأمير منطاش إلى رؤوس النوب بجمع المماليك وإنزالهم بالأطباق من قلعة الجبل على العادة ثم قام من عند السلطان ونزل إلى الإسطبل بباب السلسلة وكان ندب جماعة للفحص على الناصري ورفقته ففي حال نزوله أحضر إليه الأمير أحمد بن يلبغا أمير مجلس والأمير مأمور القلمطاوي فأمر بحبسهما بقاعة الفضة من القلعة وحبس معهما أيضًا الأمير بجمان المحمدي وكتب منطاش بإحضار الأمير سودون الفخري الشيخوني النائب من ثغر الإسكندرية

Emir Minṭāsh then ordered the ruʾūs al-nuwab to assemble the mamlūks and lodge them again in the citadel barracks; and, leaving the sultan, he returned to the Stables at the gate of the chain. He had before this sent a number to search for al-Nāṣirī and his companions, and as he was descending there were brought to him amir ʾAḥmad ibn Yalbughā, emir of the council, and amir Maʾmūr al-Qalamṭāwī; he ordered them to be imprisoned in the Silver Hall of the citadel, and imprisoned with them Sūdūn al-Fakhrī al-Shaykhūnī the viceroy to be brought to Cairo from the fortress of Alexandria.
