هذا مع ما كان منطاش فيه من شغل السر من اضطراب المملكة بعد مسكه الناصري وغيره.
وفيه أخرج منطاش عدة من المماليك الظاهرية إلى قوص وبينما منطاش في ذلك قدم عليه الخبر بأن الأمراء المقيمين بمدينة قوص من المنفيين قبل تاريخه خرجوا عن الطاعة، وقبضوا على والي قوص وحبسوه، واستولوا على مدينة قوص، وانضم عليهم جماعة كبيرة من عصاة العربان، فندب منطاش لقتالهم تمربغا الناصري، وبيرم خجا، وآروس بغا من أمراء الطبلخاناة في عدة مماليك.

At the same time Minṭāsh was in inward anxiety because of the disturbed condition in which the empire (al-mamlaka) had been ever since he had arrested al-Nāṣirī and other amirs; and on the day in question he banished a number of the Ẓāhirī mamlūks to Qūṣ. But in the meanwhile the report was brought to him that the amirs who had been banished to Qūṣ previously and were living there had revolted, seizing and imprisoning its governor and taking possession of the city; likewise that they had been joined by a large number of revolting Arabs. Minṭāsh sent against them Tamurbughā al-Nāṣirī, Bayram Khujā, and ʾĀrūs Bughā, amirs of 40, in command of a number of mamlūks.
