On the same day, another report came to [Minṭāsh] that the revolting amirs in Upper Egypt were gaining in strength. Minṭāsh immediatly sent amir ʾAsandamur ibn Yaʿqūb Shāh, amir of the council, in command of about 500 horsemen as reinforcement for the amirs who had preceded him thither, and ʾAsandamur set out on the 23d.
