ʾAmīr kabīr Sayf al-Dīn Yalbughā al-Nāṣirī al-Ẓāhirī, ʾatābak al-ʿasākir of Egypt, died in the night of Friday 02/09, after his return from Syria, with the sultan. He was also one of the eminent khāṣṣakī of al-Malik al-Ẓāhir Barqūq,and one of his mamluks. During the reign of al-Nāṣir he was promoted until he became amir of 100 of Egypt. A great part of this was already mentioned in the chapter on the reign of al-Nāṣir and of al-Muʾayyad. He was the third of the ʾatābakīya of Egypt during the regime of the Turks who was called Yalbughā al-Nāṣirī. The first one was Yalbughā al-ʿUmarī al-Nāṣirī, lord of al-Kabsh and ʾustādh of Barqūq and the second one was ʾatābak Yalbughā al-Nāṣirī al-Yalbughāwī, he was leader of the conflict with al-Malik al-Ẓāhir Barqūq. His nisba came from his merchant Khawājā Nāṣir al-Dīn, he was a mamluk of the fore-mentioned Yalbughā. End. The third Yalbughā al-Nāṣirī was one of the mamluks of Barqūq. His nisba, al-Nāṣirī, came from his merchant, Khawājā Nāṣir al-Dīn.
