وأخلع على القاضي علاء الدين علي بن عيسى المقيري الكركي كاتب سر الكرك في كتابة سر مصر، لما تقدم له من الأيادي على الظاهر في القيام معه بالكرك، عوضاً عن القاضي بدر الدين محمد بن فضل الله بحكم توجهه أيضاً مع منطاش إلى دمشق.

[Barqūq] also invested cadi ʿAlāʾ al-Dīn ʿAlī ibn ʿĪsā al-Muqayrī al-Karakī, confidential secretary (kātib sirr) of al-Karak, with that office in Egypt, in recognition of the kindnesses which the cadi had shown al-Ẓāhir by supporting him in al-Karak; as confidential secretary of Egypt he succeeded cadi Badr al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Faḍl Allāh, removed because he had gone with Minṭāsh to Damascus.
