ثمّ في ثاني عشره عرض السلطان المحابيس من المنطاشيّة فأفرد جماعة كبيرة للقتل فقُتلوا في ليلة الأحد ثالث عشرة منهم الأمير جنتمر أخو طاز نائب الشام والأمير ألطنبغا الجربغاوي والطواشي طقطاي الطشتمري الرومي والقاضي فتح الدين محمد بن الشهيد كاتب سرّ دمشق ضُربت أعناقهم بالصحراء

The 12th. The Sultan reviewed the Minṭāshīya who were prisoners, and singled out a large number for death, the execution taking place on the eve of Sunday, the 13th. They included amirs Jantamur ʾAkhū Ṭāz, governor of Damascus; ʾAlṭunbughā al-Jarbughāwī; the eunuch Ṭuqṭāy al-Ṭashtamurī al-Rūmī; and Judge Fatḥ al-Dīn Muḥammad Ibn al-Shahīd, kātib sirr of Damascus, all of them were decapitated in the desert tract.
