وتوفي الأمير سيف الدين أرغون بن عبد الله من بشبغا الظاهري الأمير آخور - كان - في الدولة الناصرية فرج بالقدس بطالا في يوم الجمعة ثالث ذي القعدة. وكان دينا خيرا عفيفا عن المنكرات
والفجور. وهو أحد أعيان المماليك الظاهرية وخشداش الوالد كلاهما جلبه خواجا بشبغا و قد تقدم من ذكره نبذة كبيرة في ترجمة الملك الماصر فرج.

Amir Sayf al-Dīn ʾArghūn b. ʿAbd Allāh min Bashbughā al-Ẓāhirī; the ʾamīr ʾākhūr in the days of al-Nāṣir Faraj, died in Jerusalem, on Friday 03/11, as baṭṭāl. His faith was good, he abstained from reprehensible and immoral deeds. He was one of the ʾaʿyān of the mamluks of al-Ẓāhir and a khushdāsh of my father, both of them were brought by khawājā Bashbughā. He had been mentioned a lot before in the chapter on al-Malik al-Nāṣir.
