Muwaffaq al-Dīn ʾAbū l-Faraj the vizier and Nāṣir al-Dīn ibn al-Ḥusām then went down the the caravansary of Masrūr in Cairo where the orphans’ funds were deposited, and by order of Minṭāsh yook from it 300,000 dirhams. The treasurer of the judiciary (ʾamīn al-ḥukm) in Cairo was then obligated to add enough to make the total sum 500,000 dirhams, while the treasurer of the judiciary of Old Cairo (Miṣr) was ordered to send 100,000 dirhams, and the treasurer of the Ḥusaynīya to send 100,000 dirhams, as a loan. All this was with the consent of Chief qāḍī Badr al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn ʾAbī l-Baqāʾ.
