The fourth of the three niyābas of the mamlaka of Aleppo, which are in the Bilād al-Jazīra, east of the Eufrates, outside the Syrian borders, belonging to the military wālīs al-ʾumūr. Its nāʾib is a muqaddam ʾalf, its appointment comes from the sultanic gates, with a marsūm sharīf.
