Procedure:
Like in Damascus, by the writing of a murabbaʿa containing the ʾiqtaʿāt which the nāʾib has assigned and its preparation for the august gates to contain the august signature and a lasting attestation in the dīwān al-juyūsh in Egypt, as well as a proof of the manāshīr that are issued from the sultanic gates; his legal authority is assigned from the sultanic gates.
