الاسكندرية و لم يعلم احد ما الموجب لذلك

That same day, the Mawlid al-Nabawī was celebrated at the Ḥawsh, as was the custom. Before the end of the celebration, the sultan assigned amir Barsbāy Qarā al-Ẓāhirī, amir Jakam al-Ẓāhirī and Ṭarabāy al-Ẓāhirī al-Bawwāb to prepare (to go) to the Ṣaʿīd, in order to seize amir Qurqmās, the ʾamīr silāḥ, amir Qalamṭāy, the raʾs nawba, and ʾArghūn Shāh, and to take them to the prison of Alexandria.
Nobody knew what prompted the sultan to do so.
