ثم وجد منطاش ذخيرة بالقاهرة للأمير جركس الخليلي في بيت جمال الدين أستاداره، فيها خمسمائة ألف درهم، ونحو خمسين ألف دينار، فأخذها منطاش، ثم أخذ أيضاً من مال ابن جركس الخليلي نحو ثلاثمائة ألف دينار مصرية.

A store of treasure belonging to amir Jarkas al-Khalīlī was then found by Minṭāsh in the house of Jamāl al-Dīn, Jarkas’s ʾustādār, in Cairo, containing 500,000 dirhams and about 50,000 dinars. Minṭāsh seized this money and also about 300,000 egyptian dinars additional belonging to amir Jarkas.
